The Foundation grants a second loan to the Sri Lankan MFI VisionFund Lanka
The Grameen Credit Agricole Foundation granted a new € 1.9 million loan to the MFI VisionFund Lanka over a three-year period. This is the second loan granted to this MFI, partner of the Foundation since 2014.
Vision Lanka Fund was established in 2004 as a microfinance branch of World Vision Sri Lanka (International NGO World Vision) which operates in the country since 1977. The institution is primarily aimed at people living in rural areas and women through small loans to poor entrepreneurs using the group lending methodology.
