The Foundation funds a third partner in Myanmar
The Foundation has granted € 2.6 million loan to Proximity over a three-year period. Proximity Finance is a microfinance programme developped within Prowimity Designs, a nonprofit social venture that has been reducing poverty and hunger for tens of thousands of rural families in Burma/Myanmar since 2004.
With this new funding, the Foundation now has three partners in Myanmar. The country accounts for 31% of the Foundation's microfinance commitments in South and South-East Asia.
