The Foundation completes its first microfinance investment in Cameroon

The Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation has just granted a € 2 million loan  to the  Cameroonian microfinance institution to Agence de Crédit pour l’Entreprise Privée au Cameroun (ACEP Cameroun), over a three-year period, thus achieving its first microfinance investment in this country where the Foundation is already represented through the Social Business sector.

ACEP Cameroun is a microfinance institution whose mission is to support the development of Very Small Enterprises (VSE) in the urban centres of the country, combating poverty by broadening financing to the most vulnerable segments of the population, public and private markets, government officials and agents, pensioners and employees in the private sector, and ensure the security of the economic agents savings.
