Philippe Brassac's speech to the 10th Convergences World Forum against poverty

Crédit Agricole S.A. CEO Philippe Brassac gave a speech late on Tuesday 5 September afternoon, before the closing soiree of the Convergences World Forum at Palais Brongniart in Paris. He talked about exclusion, which is one of the three key topics of this event, named "Together, let's innovate for a Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, Zero Poverty world". Convergences World Forum was launched in 2008, and can boast partners such as Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation and Amundi. It has since become one of the major happenings of the post-summer-break season, and provides a unique opportunity to hold discussions on innovative solutions to fight poverty and insecurity. It provides international experts and decision-makers with a place for learning and high-level meetings, so they can work together on the social and environmental challenges affecting countries in the North and the South. Every year, the Convergences World Forum brings together over 7,000 attendees from the public and private sectors, and from various NGOs (non-governmental organisations).
