In Zambia, the Foundation grants a new loan to AMZ

The microfinance institution AMZ (Agora Microfinance Zambia) received a second loan from the Foundation for a total amount of € 500,000 in Zambian Kwacha, over a three-year period. This loan has been granted within the African Facility, which, in partnership with AFD, aims at strengthening small rural African MFIs to enable them to achieve, among other things, operational self-sufficiency. AMZ aims to serve clients who have previously been excluded from the formal financial market, predominantly due to poverty or location. Products are designed to meet the specific financial needs and cash flow pattern of AMZ's target clients.
