9th Convergences World Forum: over 7,000 participants in Paris
From 5 to 7 September, Paris hosted the 9th Convergences World Forum attended by over 7,000 participants and 450 speakers. The sessions took place at the Palais Brongniart and at the Hôtel de Ville. Three days of discussions, debates, reflections and inspiration on the theme "Inventing Tomorrow’s Sustainable Cities and Territories".
As for many years now, the Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation was there. First, by co-organising a workshop on family farming and agro-industry and then by taking part in the presentation of the 2016 Microfinance Barometer. The launch of the English version of this Barometer was an opportunity to discuss the challenges and levers of microfinance with the partners and authors of the 7th edition of this publication. The staff of the Foundation also spoke at a number of round tables.
The Crédit Agricole Group was also represented by Stanislas Pottier, Director of Sustainable Development at Crédit Agricole S.A, Mathieu Azzouz, Head of the Impact Investing fund management team of Amundi and Jean-Christophe Debar, Director of FARM.
